Grammar Course Opening Comments

Marie greets us at the front door of her cozy A-frame cottage. "Hello, and welcome to my home on the beach. My name is Marie. I'm so glad that you want to learn grammar, because when you speak well, and write well, you will have a greater chance of achieving success!" As the opening credits roll with a list of all the topics the course will cover we see a montage of Marie picking flowers and vegetables, building a massive sand castle, patting a totem pole, sitting at a bonfire, and paddling a canoe past Eagle Rock while the snow capped coastal range mountains loom up dramatically behind her. This establishes the beach and garden settings where many of the following lessons will unfold.
