Lesson 21: Noun Clauses & Verbals (3:10)

Noun Clauses and Verbals"Noun clauses do the work of nouns."  Marie is sitting on a log on the beach.  She has emptied out her blue beach-combing bucket.  All the treasures she collected for the construction of her mural are being sorted into piles of driftwood, shells, and stones.  She provides examples in sentence form of noun clauses being used as the object of an infinitive, the object of a gerund, the object of a participle, and as the appositive.
